"Through the fence, between the curling flower spaces,I could see them hitting."

The Sound and the Fury (1929)
I must honestly say... I've tried reading the analysis for this book and I have no clue what is being said... The comic below illustrates how I feel simply over the summaries I have read.
So to sum it up, there is no way someone could get me to read this book considering I can't even understand the summary...

Famous Last Words...
"P.S.
Sorry I forgot to give you the mayonnaise."

Trout Fishing In America (1967)
Trout Fishing in America is about finding one's self with nature. Through the summaries I have read over this book, they have mentioned the narrator having flashbacks to boyhood which is were he found himself at peace and at one with nature.
I am drawn to this book because of its title primarily. Growing up I've loved fly fishing for trout in Arkansas with my dad. It has always been a great memory for me. Though I'm to old for our best fishing spot anymore, I'll never forget the adrenaline from when I would hook a giant trout, or when I'd see one swim past my feet that appeared larger than me!

I love the comic! : ) Not my favorite book either! What a sweet memory of trout fishing with your dad--that would make a great poem, I think.
